Nice try. Fans say we don’t want overpaid and arrogant prima donnas forcing us to absorb their political message so they try another form and pretend that should satisfy us. It does not.

This nonsense began last year and could easily have been contained.

Instead they united to let it grow as they proved their contempt for the fan base and nation.

Now it is affecting their Golden Goose so they wink and alter the style.

I don’t care if my once favorite Broncos changed their mind now that our disdain is apparent.

The contempt of the Commissioner, owners and players was apparent first.

Their true feelings have been demonstrated, the damage done.

We will not even consider watching a game until Roger Goodell is forced to step down.

We will not consider watching a game until this nation receives sincere apology from every player, coach and owner who took part in this outrage.

If they care they’ve got it to prove and that will require acts of contrition and a pattern of behavior respecting the fans and nation that have so richly blessed them.
