So You Voted? Big Deal

i_voteedVoting. Something that is considered the ultimate in being the most “precious” right. As well as being considered the most “patriotic” form of behavior.

But, is it really?

Is such an act in the best of interests of this country when year after year, election after election, 98% of these votes go to the same two parties that have caused all of the political, economic and social upheaval we have witnessed over the past several generations?

Looking at the results, I would say not.

On the “precious” side, it is treated as anything but. Motor-voter, allowing every Juan, Dick and Hector to vote without any proof that they are a citizen or legal resident, the rumbling of voting levers being pulled in graveyards across the country and both parties pandering to any and all, regardless of eligibility. No, it is treated more like a pimp treating his fourth-string hooker on a rainy Saturday night.

On the “patriotic” side, well this is more a case of self-delusion. And more applicable to the GOP side of things. Supporting a party and candidates that constantly say that they will “oppose” the Left, bring in and vote for a “new” agenda, all the while cloaking themselves in the flag (something we never have to worry about Leftists doing, since they burn the flag instead). But, as we always see, they will pump up the volume, bring in a lot of bread and circuses (such as the Issa/Gowdy) show trials and in the end, ALWAYS surrender on any important issue. Budget, foreign policy, trade policy etc. You name it and they will have a new white flag ready to be raised.

I am of the mind that your vote is INDEED precious and should not be wasted on a bunch of card shark politicians who only want your vote and your money come election time and otherwise consider you a piece of dog crap on the bottom of their shoes. Something to be ridden of on the first Wednesday of November.

Christopher Szaz is a near Washington, D.C. native, having grown up there and spending most of his childhood and early to mid-adulthood in that dynamic metropolis. A history buff, he initially got into history and presidential/constitutional impacts via the family's World Book encyclopedia collection. Additionally, his father, a former political science professor, was a fixture on Capitol Hill as a human rights lobbyist for over 30 years. In that time, he got to know the likes of Goldwater, Dole, Bush Sr. and B1 Bob Dornan and many others of note, personally. Steeped in such a background, Christopher took an avid interest in politics, parties and even worked a bit on the Hill as a young man. Seeing the country, it's policies and especially it's parties fall to rampant corruption, he teamed up years ago with ConPart co-founder Lynn Vogel, to help both set the record straight on the Constitution, it's powers and the authority it gives the citizens of this country. While holding the corrupt current parties to the fire, while helping to educate the populace about both that and the need for Replacement Party formation. A former IT professional, who also has run his own web design business for over 20 years, he built the Constitutional Patriot website nearly a decade ago, as a vital tool for spreading this message, along with Vogel.
