Constitution Is Not Liberal or Conservative

Another conservative just told me conservatism was based on our Constitution.

It NEVER was! That is junk history from GOP media. Liberalism claims the same thing. More junk history.

Both were recorded 2,400 yrs ago in the Senate of Pericles.

They are terms used globally for 2,400 years which means it is nuts to say either was based on our Constitution.

The terms relate to property issues and wealth/income sharing.

Voters who vote to preserve property and wealth, resisting fast change are conservatives.

This is why Democrat slave owners were the conservatives of that era.

Lincoln was the new Republican Party liberal who sought fast change and stripping of that “property right.”

Conservatives from the days of original Greek democracy wanted to keep earnings while liberals wanted it shared to lift the lower classes.

Both groups have used our Constitution when it aids them and readily ignore it when it doesn’t.

Our Founders were Constitutional Patriots hoping they had formed a system above the machinations of these self-interests.

But liberals and conservatives twist it for themselves as they always have with governments across the globe for over 20 centuries. They change as suits them like Democrats and Republicans did swapping positions between 1860 and 1960.

America was founded by Constitutional Patriots for Constitutional Patriots, not liberals or conservatives that manipulate ideology to serve partisan self-interests.

Constitutional Patriotism has not changed since 1789.

Liberals and conservatives did. How is that working out?

I am a  Conpat.

F. Lynn Vogel is an Iowa native, father and lifelong patriotic historian. Raised as the son of two well-informed historians he immersed himself in the small family library one room of their home was dedicated to. As an adult most of his work was in manufacturing and product development which then led to consulting and restructuring manufacturing companies struggling in a changing global economic environment. It was there he followed his fathers footsteps into writing and radio work but with a focus on historical aspects of our politics, founding and Constitution which he had studied while getting his formal business training. He is now dedicated to restoring the constitutional greatness of America for future generations, in honor of those who provided so much for us.
