Diversity Is A Cancer

By Dave Lessa-Constitutional Patriot Contributing Partner

Diversity, as it is understood today, is a cancer. In its current form it is divisive and destructive.

In centuries past diversity was accepted because those of diverse backgrounds and cultures wanted to be a part of the whole. It was their dream to “be American”, with all that was involved for them to become one.

Not so today.

Today diversity is wanting just the opposite. It’s about being disruptive, being a malcontent, wearing the cloak of victimhood, and wanting to stand apart from the whole because of that victim mentality and championing that victimhood.

The sooner we stop celebrating diversity for diversity’s sake, as a goal unto itself, as if it were something more tangible than just a trait of some individual, and return to celebrating diversity simply as a characteristic of those who want to strengthen the whole, the better off we’ll be.

F. Lynn Vogel is an Iowa native, father and lifelong patriotic historian. Raised as the son of two well-informed historians he immersed himself in the small family library one room of their home was dedicated to. As an adult most of his work was in manufacturing and product development which then led to consulting and restructuring manufacturing companies struggling in a changing global economic environment. It was there he followed his fathers footsteps into writing and radio work but with a focus on historical aspects of our politics, founding and Constitution which he had studied while getting his formal business training. He is now dedicated to restoring the constitutional greatness of America for future generations, in honor of those who provided so much for us.
