People need to stop giving AOC credit for the Green New Deal bill.
That incompetent clown could never author a complicated piece of broad legislation. Upon arrival at the House of Representatives AOC was approached and asked to sponsor the bill because almost no one else was dumb enough to say yes.
The bill, now called hers by right wing media, was as new to her as it was to us.
Talk of a “Green New Deal” first surfaced in 2007 in an article by Thomas Friedman. Several UN panels and associates got on board.
Many of those involved were also key players in the Paris Climate Deal President Trump wisely rejected on arrival.
Those “Deals” were drafted simultaneously as part of a two-prong attack by globalists intent on expanding socialist policies while cashing in personally in the process. (Like Al Gore did with his climate change scams.)
It is not accurate for right wing media to continue crediting her for it. That is fake news to fire up audiences. The truth is, AOC was only a co-sponsor with the other fool who signed on. (Ed Markey..Sen from Ma.)

The Green New Deal is not American, it is not new and it certainly is not from the empty skull of AOC.
