Cruz Experience vs Trump Bankruptcy

Cruz and his fans are quick to point out the fact that Trump has had 4 businesses go into bankruptcy. They obviously know what they are talking about because it proves Trump is one lousy businessman. After all, he’s only been involved in a few hundred start ups and those 4 prove the guy failed a WHOLE ONE PERCENT of the time. What a loser!

It reminds me of Michael Jordan. Everyone thinks he was such a great basketball player. Bull. He lost some games, sometimes he even missed the winning shot! Loser.

Some say George Washington was a great General. Oh really? He lost more battles than he won. In the French-Indian War he made so many mistakes a lot of people didn’t even want him to lead in our Revolution. Loser.

Thomas Edison is another. Great inventor? He tried over 14,000 failed combinations before he perfected the incandescent light. Howz THAT for failure? Loser!

Ted Cruz…now THERE is a wizard! A lawyer among lawyers! The guy who knew 4 years ago his birth status was an issue in a POTUS campaign so he ignored it instead of having a court settle it so now it lingers. Yeah, brilliant. He does have private enterprise business experience, did you know he sold books door to door for a bit while in college? He’s had his finger on the pulse of US business and the global economy ever since and HE didn’t break the book company.

Maybe Trump survived his crushing 1% failure rate but Cruz had a better formula, just don’t do anything. Become a lawyer, cherry pick a few reputation building slam dunk cases then get a few crony political appointments. Marry the right financial insider and she can manage your way to the White House on a slide greased by her connections.

Trump never thought of that!

Trump brags about all of his global business successes, even talks about the real-estate and biz deals he’s done with China, so has Cruz. He bought a Chinese made cell phone, oh yeah, he’s on that trade stuff. Must be why he fought to make Obama our first US Trade Dictator in violation of enumerated constitutional powers of Article 1. He’s a sly one!

Besides, Cruz is above hanging out with or taking advice from a business guy who has a fake reality show, he’s got Phil Robertson from Duck Dynasty to rely on. Of course Phil’s managing son wants Trump.

Yes Trump had a few failures and since Cruz has never tried it means he is qualified to speak on the subject. As Cruz eagerly points out, it happened 4 times. Is that the American thing to do? Keep trying, learn from your mistakes and come back to the game wiser and tougher?

Maybe Cruz is just out of his element discussing business, do they teach it to little Cuban boys in Canada?

Lynn Vogel

F. Lynn Vogel is an Iowa native, father and lifelong patriotic historian. Raised as the son of two well-informed historians he immersed himself in the small family library one room of their home was dedicated to. As an adult most of his work was in manufacturing and product development which then led to consulting and restructuring manufacturing companies struggling in a changing global economic environment. It was there he followed his fathers footsteps into writing and radio work but with a focus on historical aspects of our politics, founding and Constitution which he had studied while getting his formal business training. He is now dedicated to restoring the constitutional greatness of America for future generations, in honor of those who provided so much for us.
